OUR STORY

It all began in 2016 at the Philippine Sports Commission – Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, where destiny brought us together through a common friend. At that time, we were both athletes chasing our dreams. Roanne was a gymnast who later shifted to weightlifting, while Jhonny was a wrestler living at the PSC dormitory in Malate, Manila.

From early morning training sessions to spontaneous food trips, our friendship grew into something more. One memorable trip to Tagaytay sealed it when we became a couple, and from there, our journey together only grew stronger.

Fast forward to New Year’s Eve of 2022, when Jhonny proposed. It marked the start of our engagement and a new chapter in our lives.

Now, as we prepare to say our vows, we chose the Capilla of Bahay at Yaman ni San Martin de Porres in Bustos, Bulacan as our ceremony venue. This place is very close to our hearts. It is not only a chapel, but also a home to hundreds of children. We have spent time here teaching and serving, making it more than just a venue. It is a symbol of love, hope, and giving back.

After the ceremony, we look forward to celebrating with you at La Florentina Resort, a warm and easygoing space filled with laughter, good food, and special surprises.

As we tie the knot, we can’t wait to share this moment with all of you—our family, friends, and loved ones who have been part of our journey. Your presence means the world to us, and we are excited to create unforgettable memories together on our special day.
